Ben Scott & Christa Michell – Tibetan Chakra Meditations

Initially singing bowls were used by shamans in Tibet, Bon-Pot (Bone Potskoy) religion, which preceded Buddhism. Tibetan singing bowls have been used to encourage good spirits bearing crops, cure diseases, banish evil spirits and negative energies. They were made from seven metals, corresponding to the seven planets and seven chakras: gold, silver, copper, mercury, iron, tin and lead. The biggest bowl broke and kept the monks in their homes and used them for a magical and divine rituals.

In 1949, the Chinese took over Tibet and a large number of lamas fled, taking with him the cup. Many of them came to the West, thanks to these monks.
Bowl very idiosinkrozichny and recording can be heard great variation harmonious combination of both high and low frequencies. Sometimes there are curious hollow sound in climactic moments, and unusual sounds similar to creak, but all these sounds peculiar to the live sound of singing Tibetan bowls. Within five minutes chanter for each chakra. Then it was layered on the other two a stereo the same bowl, is playing live.
